Acme Graphics were asked to design book jackets of classic titles, to fill shelves of a bookshop scene for The Pursuit of Love. The real books could not be used for two reasons: difficulty getting clearance of the graphics, and the need for them to look brand new in the shop, as the setting was the 1930s.
