Period Books

For period productions, vintage book props can establish a character in the time and place, often the title can be a key plot device or talking point. We have designed, printed and made up hero prop books covering many periods from an illuminated manuscript for the middle ages, 18^th Century Russian books, books from an early printing press to 19^th and 20^th century prop books.

We generally use materials and finishes that are authentic and appropriate to the era when the book would have been created, to ensure they look believable for the audience.
